Best of Kenya and Tanzania Safari Day 1- May 22, 2012:
Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
You will be picked by your driver guide at 7.00am to proceed to the Northern part of Kenya popularly known as Samburu and arrive in time for lunch.
At 4 O’clock, you will leave for a game drive.
These 3 reserves (Buffalo spring, Shaba and Samburu) were helped put up by Adamson’s family, they are famous for rare species of animals only found in this semi arid region. These are reticulated giraffe, Grevy zebra, gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, and blue necked Somali ostrich amongst others

Day 2-May 23, 2012:
Samburu National Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drive.

Day 3-May 24, 2012:
Samburu – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast you will be taken to L. Nakuru National Park to arrive in time for lunch.
L. Nakuru is in the Rift Valley and is world famous as an Ornithological paradise. Sometimes up to 2 million flamingos can be seen around the lake. Other animals to be seen here include the big four (Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard). Also the rare species of giraffe known as the Rothschild amongst others.

Day 4-May 25, 2012:
Lake Nakuru National Park – Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast you will be taken to Maasai Mara National reserve to arrive in time for lunch.
Maasai Mara is world famous for the annual migration of the wildebeest. Also many National Geographical
Documentaries have been recorded from this park. Animals to be seen here include the big five, zebras, giraffes, topi, kongoni amongst many species of wild life.

Day 5-May 26, 2012:
Maasai Mara National Reserve
Spend the whole day game viewing.

Day 6-May 27, 2012:
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast drive to the border with picnic lunches.
Get into vehicles from Tanzania drive to Serengeti National park, game drive en route to the lodge.
Serengeti is among African Premier game parks. The more than a million and half wildebeest live here, as do a quarter million zebra, almost half a million gazelles and thousands of attendant predators yet the impact of Serengeti herd goes beyond the quantitative spread out.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro crater with picnic lunch. Game drive en route to the Lodge.
Ngorongoro is the biggest crater in the world and also universally acclaimed one of the natural wonders of the world. On the verdant crater floor, thousands of wild creatures live a fishbowl existence in a setting of almost sublime beauty. Spread over treeless pastures, the animals are displayed in glorious, unobstructed view. The crater has it all-mighty bull elephants dour-faced buffalo, beleaguered rhinoceros, lions galore, even a sparkling, flamingo-thronged soda lake. Everything is enclosed within the velvety green walls of a perfect volcanic bowl. The crater casts a spell of overwhelming tranquility that invites inevitable comparison with Garden of Eden.

Day 9-May 30, 2012:
Ngorogoro – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park with lunch en route.
Amboseli National Park is famous for its huge herds of elephant and the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro which is the biggest Mountain in Africa and best viewed from Amboseli. Wildlife and birds to be seen here includes, Maasai giraffe, hyenas, lions fringe eared oryx and over 400 species of birds.

Day 10-May 31, 2012:
Amboseli – Nairobi
After breakfast, you will be driven to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
The cost of the Best of Kenya and Tanzania Interhash 2012 Safari will be:
