VICTORIA FALLS SAFARI

Day 1: Johannesburg – Victoria falls
On arrival at the Victoria Falls Airport, you will be met by our drive who will transfer you to your hotel.  While Victoria Falls is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, it is classified as the largest, based on its width of 1,708 metres and height of 108 metres resulting in the world’s largest sheet of falling water. Victoria Falls is roughly twice the height of North America’s Niagara Falls and well over twice the width of its Horseshoe Falls. In height and width Victoria Falls is rivalled only by Argentina and Brazil’s Iguazu falls.

The Kingdom at Victoria Falls is a fun-filled resort hotel aimed unashamedly at tourists who want to take in the majesty and excitement of one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World as well as enjoy a holiday adventure.  Stunning architecture, which echoes the Victoria Falls but draws on the ancient Kingdom of Munhumutapa, with great domes, pillars and bridges over the many water features, belies the fact that the resort is run on very traditional lines, with no compromise on the highest levels of products and guest service.

Day 2: Victoria falls
After breakfast, spend the day touring the water fall including the famous naturally formed Devil’s Pool, near the edge of the falls on Livingstone Island on the Zambian side.
Victoria Falls is awaterfall in southern Africa on the Zambezi River at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The whole volume of the Zambezi River pours through the First Gorge’s 110-meter-wide (360 ft) exit for a distance of about 150 meters (500 ft), then enters a zigzagging series of gorges designated  by the order in which the river reaches them. Unlike the game parks, Victoria Falls has more Zimbabwean and Zambian visitors than international tourists; the attraction is accessible by bus and train, and is therefore comparatively inexpensive to reach.
